Let the SewThreadable Adventures Begin!

We're live! Come with me on my adventures of thrifting, upcycling, fashion, design, and DIY. Dissatisfied with the modern buy-toss cycle of consumerist glut, I'm on a mission to reuse, restore, and repurpose items I find, usually coincidental. I try my hand at reviving a vintage sewing machines given to me by a coworker, turning a $0.50 duvet cover into a dress (in less than 24 hours), and other weird shenanigans I think of on a whim (like that time I found a broken umbrella on the side of the road and turned it into a circle skirt?)

So on this blog you'll gleam into never before seen work in progress shots and behind the scene frustrations of the creative process. Work through the problems with me and you'll see that I, in fact, know nothing about anything, and that there is no such thing as inherent "handyness". We're all born craftspeople, you just need the confidence to get started and get your hands dirty.
